Donna Dunne is the most exciting artist on the Irish music scene today! Born and bred Dublin girl Donna, has been inspired by Elvis Presley and other 1950′s icons throughout her life and after a trip to Memphis in 2011, she decided to do something about it!
Donna has been performing & singing in many different bands for years. In the last year, we seen Donna & her band going from stength to strength performing in all the top venues and festivals around Ireland. In the summer of 2012, Donna supported Jedward in Tramore at the pop picnic festival and only recently Donna was a special guest for Elvis’s 35th Anniversary in the Red Cow Inn in Dublin.
A year has passed and thanks to her ex employee Stewarts Care, Donna has been sponsored to release her music. Finally, people from all walks of life can now truly capture Donna’s 1950′s rockin sound with songs she has written herself.
Donna is set to release her song “Woman In Black” as a charity single for Stewarts Care. A date has been confirmed for the 25th October 2012 as the official launch. Donna & her band will be then heading down to the Cork Jazz Festival on the 27th/28th October 2012 to continue their Launch.
