Dylan Tighe

Half Moon Theatre, Half Moon St.
Doors 8:00 pm - Admission: €15 / €12 concession

Dylan Tighe, director of the Irish Times Irish Theatre Award 2009 winner for Best Production (The Stomach Box’s No Worst There Is None), launches an ambitious new project, which explores depression and the concept of “mental illness” with courage, imagination, subversive humour and radical honesty. The first part of the project involves the release of Dylan’s debut album, RECORD, produced by leading producer Jimmy Eadie. The second part is the world premiere of an “alternative opera” based on the songs from the album to be premiered during the Festival, which also draws on medical records, autobiography, fiction and 16mm film.
