PULSES OF TRADITION is Cork’s vibrant, authentic celebration of Traditional Irish dance, music and song, embracing many traditions of the past performed in 21st Century Ireland. Experience a journey through music from ancient airs and dances to modern Irish music and dance today. The show features world class musicians and singers from bands such as Buille, Liadan, North Cregg, and Nomos, along with breathtaking dancers, including students from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick. This is an experience not to be missed!
Pulses of Tradition will be staged in Triskel Christchurch, Cork City over 23 dates in June, July, August & September 2012. The first of these dates is Saturday June 9th 2012. Pulses of Tradition is produced by Brian Morrissey and staged by Corcadorca’s Pat Kiernan.
6 musicians between them playing flute, tin whistle, guitar, bodhran, banjo, piano, accordion and fiddle and 3 outstanding dancers will take you through this pulsating performance.
