Has been together for over fifteen years. Born from the ashes of the Madrigal, the Butterfly’s joined with Lismore accordion player Tony Dunne and Youghal bodhrán player, Keith Ansbro. The band travelled all around Europe playing festivals and concerts in over twenty countries, wowing audiences with a blend of traditional, folk and rock music. The band recorded their CD ‘You Might as well be Hung for a Sheep as a Lamb’ in 1999. After this period, British musicians, Phil Collins and Danny Pullman joined offering a truly international influence. The Butterfly Band will perform a concert of traditional and folk music, - not to be missed!
