Feral acoustic country and bluegrass from the original deep south swamp -
Cork City! Rattlesnake County crawled out of the swamp of Cork in 2011
just about alive, leaving behind a series of large debts and tall tales. Raised
by a stack of abandoned guitars and a pack of wild cards, they were found
in the woods playing their own brand of feral acoustic country ranging from Johnny Cash to ZZ Top to Tom Waits, with a few surprises in between.
Rattlesnake County specialise in country, folk, bluegrass, vocal harmonies
and countrified versions of classic songs, with a touch of old-fashioned gospel.
The band plays in combinations from a duo to a five-piece and members of
the band regularly run sessions throughout Cork city.
