“great Irish Journeys” with Martha Kearney

Crawford Art Gallery
Doors 10:00 am - Admission: FREE

Employing George Victor Du Noyer’s images as a guide, Martha Kearney travels through the Irish landscape, retracing both her own family history and also that of Du Noyer. From towns and villages, to ancient castles, burial grounds and places of worship, Kearney explores both the medieval and the modern worlds of Du Noyer’s Ireland, and Irish history itself, in this four-part BBC series.

This screening is in conjunction with Stones, Slabs and Seascapes: George Victor Du Noyer’s Images of Ireland

in the Lower Gallery.
