Dr Diarmuid Scully's research interests revolve around interpretations of Irish and archipelagic history, Gerald of Wales and medieval fantasies and stereotypes about Ireland, and their legacy. Claire Connolly is Professor of Modern English in UCC. With Dr Rob McAllen (School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, UCC) she is Co-Principal Investigator of the interdisciplinary research project Deep Maps: West Cork Coastal Cultures.
