Over and Back is a new series of work by artist Kevin Callaghan which will be exhibited at the Doswell Gallery, Rosscarbery, from Saturday 11th November to Sunday 3rd December. This new work, created from C&C birch ply and auto spray, deals with form and simultaneous contrasting, in which the colours attempt to question the artworks origins. Kevin has a BA from the Crawford College of Art and Design Cork, and holds a Masters from The Royal College of Art London. He is currently based in Cork City and working from his studio at The National Sculpture Factory. Kevin will begin a new residency at the Glasgow Sculpture Studios in January 2018.
The Doswell Gallery warmly invites you to attend the opening of Over and Back at the Doswell Gallery, from 6pm to 8pm, on Saturday 11th November. The exhibition will be opened by Dr Orla Flynn, Vice President for External Affairs at Cork Institute of Technology.
