Cork folk band The Claddagh Rogues are touring their new album 'For the Record' across Ireland for Mental Health Month, with songs that speak openly of homelessness, addiction, mental health difficulties and recovery. The Claddagh Rogues will be joined in Newman's by Míde Houlihan and Schull's own Karen Minihan. ‘These songs of hope, loss and freedom are songs from the heart, songs of the people, in the vein of Marley and Cash’ – John Spillane Míde Houlihan is a Clonakilty bred singer-songwriter whose storytelling is lyrically spellbinding and easy to relate to. Her song 'Nuts and Bolts' won the IMRO Christie Hennessy Songwriting award in 2015 and is featured on her critically acclaimed album 'Coloured In’, recorded with renowned producer and guitarist, Bill Shanley.
