On the afternoon of September 16th at Electric on South Mall, some of the cityís most important musical and artistic facilitators, from music education to community radio, will converge to share their experiences in the arts in Cork. Over a series of short talks, they will address the current situation surrounding availability of venues and spaces for music in the city, and outline their opinions on how best for the arts community to proceed. These talks will be followed by a discussion panel, and open Q&A session. Accompanying the discussion will be live performances from Nialler9 Music Trail guest Sorcha Richardson, as well as acoustic sets from Leeside-resident performers Elaine Malone and Sam Clague, while the entire event will be recorded for addition to the growing library of talks and performances available on #CorkLovesMusicís YouTube channel.
