The Comedy Improvised Soap Opera

Cork Arts Theatre, Carroll's Quay
Doors 8:00 pm - Admission: €15, €12 conc.

The gang who brought you the hilarious 'Comedy Improvised Halloween Murder Mystery' are back and this time they are lampooning the TV Soap Opera. Starring Dominic MacHale (The Young Offenders), Laura O'Mahony (CCCahoots and RTE), Annette Roche, Adrian Scanlan and Laura Harte (Snatch Comedy Improv and The Improv Panto). Once again, the entire show is improvised. There is no script to fall back on so the cast are entirely reliant on their own very fertile and bonkers imaginations (as well as their considerable talent in improvisation, of course). And, just to keep the actors constantly on their toes, the audience will provide what may turn out to be hilarious secrets for each character which will be revealed at random moments throughout. All of this is completed before the show starts so that the audience can then sit back, relax and let the hilarity unfold. Every performance of this show will be different. That is the magic and the attraction of improvisation. So, come along and join us for an evening of mad-cap entertainment as the wackiest soap opera ever created comes to life right in front of your eyes. Devised by James Horgan. Audience comments for the Improv Murder Mystery... ...brilliant... ...hilarious... ...best night out ever!... Tickets: 15, 12 conc. Please note, concession tickets can only be purchased at the box office.
