 It's all City this and City that but struggling cash strapped Cobh Rambers are another Cork team in the Eircom league more than worthy of some PeoplesRepublicofCork.com attention. Gareth Williams fills us in on the diappointing decline of the Cork club.


At the time of writing, Ramblers are rooted to the foot of the Eircom League 1st division, they have just crashed out of the cup following a brave 2-0 defeat at the hands of last years double champions, Boez, so the rest of the season has little to offer them. I suppose they are only lucky that no team is being relegated from the division this year (again) as they would be sure fire certainties to go down. So where does the problem lie for the once proud East Cork club?


MONEY! A commodity which Ramblers just don't have. How could a club have any money if they are averaging between 90 - 110 people to their home matches. Even if they charged everyone '
