About the marathon Team Relay Event
Teams of up to five people can run, walk or jog the race. The ‘marathon for everyone’ encourages individuals of all levels to get involved – from first timers to professional athletes, with the option of running the marathon as an individual or as part of a relay team made up of up to five people.

The relay provides a great way for people to enjoy the marathon with friends, family or colleagues while raising money for a charity of their choice. Up to 10,000 people are expected to take part this year and organisers hope to raise €3 million for over 150 charities, including this year’s designated charity the Irish Cancer Society.
